CHRISTY

Berlinale Film Festival Digital Campaign for Christy

In our Berlinale Film Festival digital campaign for CHRISTY, in collaboration with Charades Films, we developed the campaign for CHRISTY’s Berlinale presence, crafting a visual strategy focused on capturing the film’s intimate perspective within the context of the Berlin Film Festival.

The campaign centred on the story of Christy, a seventeen-year-old boy forced to move in with his estranged older half-brother after being thrown out of his suburban foster home. While his brother sees the arrangement as temporary, Christy begins to feel at home on Cork’s working-class Northside, making new friends and reconnecting with his past through his extended family.

We developed a visual storytelling strategy, building a visual language designed to reflect the emotional pulse of the film across all festival content. The entire festival coverage was created to support the film’s premiere, ensuring consistency between narrative, tone, and artistic sensibility.

As part of this Berlinale Film Festival digital campaign for CHRISTY, the campaign also included a festival premiere activation, an emotional content strategy, and a cinematic visual identity, strengthening the connection between the film and its audience throughout its Berlinale run.

CHRISTY has been nominated for the LUX Audience Award, further consolidating its presence within the international festival circuit.
