Social Media Marketing Campaign for Sorda
For SORDA, we collaborated with Distinto Films to develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy and a social media marketing campaign. Our goal was to enhance the film’s visibility by creating exclusive content, supporting it from its premiere at the Berlinale and the Málaga Film Festival all the way through its theatrical release.
SORDA tells the story of Ángela, a deaf woman expecting a baby with her hearing partner, Héctor. The pregnancy brings Ángela’s fears about motherhood to the surface, along with doubts about how she will communicate with her daughter. The arrival of the baby tests their relationship and forces Ángela to face the challenges of raising a child in a world that is not always designed for her.
For the digital marketing campaign for Sorda, we developed an integrated film promotion strategy, covering everything from the film’s premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival 2025 to the Málaga Film Festival, where the film won multiple awards, including Best Film – Biznaga de Oro, Best Actor (Álvaro Cervantes), and Best Actress (Miriam Garlo). We also handled the campaign for the Goya Awards, where the film won Best New Director (Eva Libertad), Best New Actress (Miriam Garlo), and Best Actor (Álvaro Cervantes).
Álvaro Cervantes, upon receiving one of the most important awards, said:
“This award is for everyone who made Sorda such a special film. Thanks to the whole team and Eva Libertad for her courage in bringing this story to the screen.”
We also worked on creating targeted content to encourage public voting for Sorda in the LUX Prize and leveraged various digital strategies to maximize visibility for the film throughout its festival and awards circuit. The campaign combined social media management, exclusive promotional materials, and content designed to amplify the film’s presence across key release milestones.
