The Miramar Murders: The State vs Pablo Ibar

In July 1994, Pablo Ibar was arrested and accused of a triple murder in Miami. A crime that shook the community given that a home security camera recorded the whole thing. Although he defends his innocence throughout, Pablo is condemned to death and spends more than 20 years in prison until the Florida Supreme Court confirms the lack of evidence against him and orders a retrial. When the process restarts, the District Attorney’s office once again asks for the death sentence while the Ibar family tries to find the money to pay for a trial that will cost more than a million dollars. Pablo is facing his last chance.

Filmax is handling world sales of this docuseries whose first window rights were acquired by HBO Europe for Spain and Portugal. The director Olmo Figueredo followed this real-live thriller over five years with La Claqueta PC, La Cruda Realidad and Irusoin as producers.
