DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY FOR ANOTHER LEAGUE
For ANOTHER LEAGUE, we followed this project from start to finish, building a digital marketing strategy across every stage. Directed by Marta Díaz de Lope Díaz and starring Bruna Luca D’Amo, Sofía de Iznájar, Aixa Villagrán, and Daniel Ibáñez, the film tells the story of a group of girls who decided to play football in 1970s Spain, when Franco’s regime still held power. They meet a visionary sports promoter who helps them take on the system. Together, they become the pioneers who changed women’s football in Spain forever. We worked with Filmax Presenta, Cine365films, and Nadie es Perfecto Producciones.
We began with our Think Early consultation during development and moved into Think Engagement from the Málaga Film Festival—where the film won the Silver Biznaga Audience Prize—through to theatrical release. We created interviews with the cast, built content that matched the film’s world, and developed marketing for women’s sports cinema that felt real.
The VoxPop with Percebes y Grelos —Carolina Iglesias— was key. We went to the streets and asked people what they knew about Spain’s women’s football pioneers. The answer was striking: almost nobody knew their stories. We used real data—where we are now and where we still need to go. It wasn’t just marketing. It was part of what the film is trying to say.
We filmed behind the scenes of “Marimacho,” Zahara’s original song, capturing the making of. We worked with the cast as a team—each bringing something real, each telling their story with honesty. At the premiere, we interviewed the real pioneers for social media, bringing the film and their actual stories together. Through it all, we reminded people that there’s still work to do for equality in sport.
