In a desperate attempt to cure his midlife crisis, Martin left his wife and two children back at home and now lives high up in the Norwegian mountains. Hunting and gathering like his ancestors did thousands of years ago, he suddenly crosses paths with an injured and on the run drug dealer. Joining forces, the two bumble their way through the woods, evading panicked family, bloodthirsty criminals and hapless cops all desperately trying to track them down.
The Film Agency worked along world sales agency Charades in the digital strategy and asset locker for Thomas Daneskov’s latest feature during its premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. The main challenge of this project was finding the right words to describe a comedy that speaks about toxic masculinity without losing its sense of humor as well as reflecting its author film’s value.
